For the new season 2026/27, Aalborg Handball and Aalborg Zoo unite jersey design, the red panda, and community in the club's new playing jerseys.
In collaboration with Aalborg Zoo, we have allowed two of the garden's most recognizable animals to leave their mark on this season's collection.

The red panda's distinctive fur serves as the basis for the pattern on our home jerseys, goalkeeper jerseys, and training wear, while the new away jerseys are inspired by the flamingo's striking plumage.

The distinctive pre-game jersey, which the players use for warm-up, is inspired by Thorvald Odgaard's crocodile decoration on the main building at the entrance to Aalborg Zoo.

The result is a collection where sport, design, and storytelling meet, and where the collaboration with Aalborg Zoo is woven directly into our visual identity for the season, thanks to hummel's skilled design team.

- We are proud once again this year to have pushed the milestones for the design of handball jerseys together with Aalborg Handball, which again highlights our shared ambition to always be innovative, eye-catching, and the best in Denmark, says sponsorship manager Lars Westergaard from Hummel.

Support for an endangered species
At Aalborg Zoo, they are also pleased with the collaboration with Aalborg Handball, which among other things focuses on an endangered species.

Thus, everyone who buys tickets to Aalborg Handball's matches online in the upcoming season can choose to donate five kroner to the preservation of the red panda. The total amount for the season will subsequently be handed over to Aalborg Zoo, which is part of the Red Panda Network.

- There is no doubt that Aalborg Zoo and Aalborg Handball are two of North Jutland's strongest brands, which in this way collaborate in a new and different manner. At the same time, we are pleased that Aalborg Handball is helping to support the preservation of an endangered species and we look forward to creating more exciting activities together throughout the season, says Aalborg Zoo's director Thomas Kastrup Larsen.
