For the new season 2026/27, Aalborg Håndbold and Aalborg Zoo combine jersey design, the red panda, and community in the club's new playing jerseys.
In collaboration with Aalborg Zoo, we have let two of the park's most recognizable animals make their mark on this season's collection.

The distinctive fur of the red panda forms the basis for the pattern on our home jerseys, goalkeeper jerseys, and training wear, while the new away jerseys are inspired by the flamingo's striking plumage.

The characteristic pre-game jersey, which the players use for warm-up, is inspired by Thorvald Odgaard's crocodile decoration on the main building at the entrance to Aalborg Zoo.

The result is a collection where sport, design, and storytelling meet, and where the collaboration with Aalborg Zoo is directly woven into our visual identity for the season, thanks to Hummel's skilled design team.

- We are proud to once again have pushed the milestones for handball jersey design together with Aalborg Håndbold, which again underscores our shared ambition to always be innovative, eye-catching, and the best in Denmark, says sponsorship manager Lars Westergaard from Hummel.

Support for a threatened species
At Aalborg Zoo, they are also happy about the collaboration with Aalborg Håndbold, which among other things focuses on a threatened species.

Thus, everyone who buys tickets for Aalborg Håndbold's matches online in the upcoming season can choose to donate five kroner to the preservation of the red panda. The total amount for the season will subsequently be handed over to Aalborg Zoo, which is part of the Red Panda Network.

- There is no doubt that Aalborg Zoo and Aalborg Håndbold are two of Northern Jutland's strongest brands, which collaborate in a new and different way. At the same time, we are happy that Aalborg Håndbold supports the preservation of a threatened species, and we look forward to being able to create more exciting activities together throughout the season, says Aalborg Zoo's director Thomas Kastrup Larsen.
